KnitZy started in 2003 when long-time hobby knitter Ze´ daLuz became entranced by jazzy new yarns. She started making scarves and hats as gifts for friends, who then requested more as gifts for their friends.
Ze´'s love affair with yarns includes making her own on a traditional spinning wheel. She shops far and wide to find the most unusual textures and colors, then knits her own designs to ensure KnitZy accessories are unique.
KnitZy is located in New Orleans, Louisiana and is a one-woman business. All products are made by hand. All item on the website are available for immediate purchase using PayPal, except those in the GALLERY section, which are previously sold work.
